Item 397/694 ‘Canopy Bed with Alcove’ SOLD

This very elaborately carved and embellished canopy bed with alcove has many layers of carving on the top including birds, whose wings (attached with springs) move. Although we are showing it with a silk coverlet, rug, chairs, and small table, it comes unfurnished. The actual mattress size is 47" x 76". The condition is very good. Mid 19th century, mixed woods, Zhejiang province, southern China.  Size: 7 feet wide x 10 feet deep x 8 feet 3 inches high
