Item 12231/800 ‘Throne Chair’ SOLD

This unusual piece is married from two pieces. The base was originally an altar table and is older than the carved back. Another peculiar aspect of this ‘chair’ is that the top section has characteristics of southern Chinese furniture and the bottom looks like a northern style. The two parts were married a long time ago. Qing Dynasty, China.
